It is finished... 

...well, at least for now.  I've finally uploaded the photos from the long awaited (and probably now forgotten) Anime Los Angeles, as well as all of the other cosplay and BJD events that I've been to.  I ran into a hecka lot of problems (photography wise) with this con.  The transition from film to digital has not been an easy one for me, as I struggle to (re) learn the "basics".  However, what is life without challenges, now and again.  I'm just happy that so many of you enjoy viewing my photos, despite the quality of the pictures themselves.

Fanime was fun.  While not prefect (but no convention is), it was extremely well run.  The venue in San Jose is well-suited for this sort of thing.  There was close to a hundred different places within walking distance to get something to eat and drink.  Anything from fast-food joints, to candle-lit and white table cloth restaurants.  There was so many different places, just outside of the San Jose convention center to take picture too.  I got to meet-up with some wonderful NorCal ABJD collectors, and the Naruto Lolitas from Rain City were quite entertaining (I wonder if them would be interested in becoming the NorthWest chapter of "Toxic Sakura" ???).  LOL.  If I can get the time (and money) to go again, count on me being at Fanime next year.  If you've never attended this event, you should consider adding this to your 2009 event calendar also (tell `em Mr. Postman sent you...).

I've received quite a few emails and PMs asking about why I'm not/didn't attend(ing) Anime Expo and ComicCon.  The main reason is financial.  Unless I can find a sponser, hit the lotto, and/or marry into money, I simply can't attend every event out there.  Wedged between these two events is a little known (well, amongst cosplayers) con called Dollectable, that I'll be heading off to.  It's an Asian Ball-Jointed Doll convention, being held in San Francisco.  I hope you guys and gals will understand.  For the rest of 2008, I'm still planning on attending MikomiCon and PMX.  I'm still thinking on Anime Vegas and Ani-Magic, but (again) money is the biggest factor with these con.  Count on me showing up for most of the local gatherings and meet-ups in the SoCal area.

...and don't forget, I still race r/c cars, so I'll be running the TCS North American Finals (aka: The "Nationals") in Aliso Viejo, on August 23th~24th.  If you're in the area, and have nothing to do, stop by to say "hello" and cheer me on.
